Level – Easy

 

Material Required: White felt, white thread, black thread, wadding, scissors.

 

Alternatively, you can use and old white pillow case for the ghost. To fill the head, you can use old tights or fabric rolled up. For the face, you can draw the face on. To make the neck cut a narrow length of fabric or use an elastic band to go around the neck. For the loop at top you can stich and elastic band or narrow piece of fabric.

 

Step 1:

Cut the fabric to your desired length. I have my rough measurements in the picture.

Step 2:

Trim the corners.

Step 3:

Place your wadding/filling in the centre of the fabric & fix fabric around the filling.

Step 4:

Keep your thumb and index finger tight around the bottom of the filling and wrap white thread around base of filling to make the head and keep filling in place. I recommend doubling your thread to reinforce it. Once you have the head secure you can pull fabric gently to get the shape you want.

 

Step 5:

Stitch eyes and mouth on.

Step 6.

Stitch a loop on top using your thread. I find it better to double the thread to make it more secure.
