How do I order fabric?


Simply click the fabric you would like to purchase. Click add to cart. You can select the amount you would like to purchase when in the cart section. All payments should be done via paypal. If you do not have a paypal account don't worry. Simply go to your cart, in the paypal section (usually down the bottom) it will give you the option to pay using credit / debit card. Click the link and enter your card details. If this option is not showing on your phone or tablet you will need to use a laptop. This is for you protection also so you know your card details are safe and you have a record of the payment.




What is the minimum amount of fabric I can purchase?


In the product overview it will inform you of the base price of the product e.g. a cotton fabric will usually state priced at per quarter metre. You will have the option to select longer lengths and quantites where available. Should you require a different length or are unsure of the price please contact us. Offcuts / remnants are left overpieces from projects and are sold as described on the site. Offcuts are a great way to build up your fabric supply at a reduced price.




How long will it take for fabric to be delivered?


All orders received before 1pm Monday to Friday will be processed that day and where possible will be either dispatched the same day or the following day. We will issue you a tracking number either from our chosen courier company or An Post so you can keep track of your order. Regarding COVID 19 all our delivers appear to be running smoothly as you can see from our Google reviews however we are in un-certain times so a delay is possible. If you have not received notification that your item has been dispatched or if you have not received your order within three working days, plesase contact us ASAP so we can assist you.




Will the fabric I order be the exact same colour as on the website?


Shades may vary slightly. We do provide samples so please contact us for further details. Or you can contact us to arrange a viewing. - Due to COVID 19 this is not possible at the moment but please contact us should you need further assistance.




OOPS I changed my mind can I change colour or get a refund?????


Unfortunately as the fabric and trimmings are CUT to order we cannot offer exchange or refund unless the goods are soiled or damaged. As all goods are inspected prior dispatch this shouldn't be an issue. We pride ourselves on our cusomer service, so if you have any queries, need advice or have an issue with your order we would aprreciate if you contact us directly as any issues will be not dealt with via Facebook etc.




How much is postage & packaging?


There is a set €6.00 postage and packaging fee for the Republic of Ireland. Your item wlll be dispatched via our chosen courier company or An Post. You will be sent a tracking number so you can keep track of your order. For orders outside the Republic of Ireland please email us and we will be happy to give you a quote. We do offer a standard postage service also. However please email us to discuss the best quote for p&p. *T&C's apply please refer to the terms & conditions page or contact us for further information.

Once it relates to fabric, trimmings, sewing and sew on we are only too happy to assist. Just drop us an email edel@sewstitchy.com letting us know exatly what you are looking for (e.g. if it's a certain thread let us know the brand and colour number if you know it) or give us a call and we can see if we can stock it for you.
